ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - At least 33 people were killed due to torrential rains and floods across the country on Saturday.

According to details received so far, some 13 people including children were killed and more than 25 injured in rain and flash floods in KPK.In Karachi, Six people, including two children, died and several others were injured in rain-related incidents on Saturday
The heavy rains have triggered a flash flood in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and South Punjab, causing widespread devastation across the three provinces as several villages have been submerged under water while dozens of people killed, according to reports.
Torrential rains in northern parts of the country have triggered flash floods in rivers and nullahs, washing away hundreds of houses and killing dozens of people.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, there was middle-level flood in river Sindh, Jhelum and Chenab.

Water flow in Budhni Nullah has receded but traffic was still suspended on Charsadda road.

At least six children of a same family were killed when the roof of a factory collapsed in Hub on Saturday. Four women were also injured in the collapse. The incident took place in the Jam Colony area of the city.
