Thai PM arrives on 20th

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Thailand Yingluck Shinawatra is reaching here on Tuesday for a two-day official visit to push better trade ties.

During the visit, which is the first high-level engagement between the two sides in a very long time, an agreement and a couple of memorandums of understanding would be signed.

Ms Shinawatra has been invited by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for the visit.

She will meet her counterpart and also call on President Asif Ali Zardari.

The objective of the visit is to enhance trade and investment, besides seeking to strengthen bilateral ties. The Pakistan-Thailand Joint Trade Committee will hold its inaugural session during the visit.
