KARACHI: President-elect Mamnoon Hussain has said that doors for negotiations should not be closed and Pakistan should talk with the groups ready for it, Geo News reported.
In an exclusive interview with Geo News, Mamnoon Hussain said US was ready to hold talks with Taliban, therefore, Pakistan should also negotiate with the groups ready for reconciliation.Mamnoon Hussain, the candidate of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has been elected as the 12th President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan for the next five-year term.Hussain will replace the incumbent president, Asif Ali Zardari, whose five-year term ends on Sept. 8.
