Karachi: Over ten hurt as bomb explodes near Jhatpat Market

KARACHI: More than ten people were injured as a bomb exploded near Jhatpat Market that is located in Lyari area of the metropolis in the wee hours of Wednesday, a Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Sania Naz said.

The MPA, who was elected from Lyari constituency, said that the explosive material was planted in the motorbike.

Heavy contingent of police have reached the site of the incident and put the security cordon. Meanwhile, the rescue teams have also kicked off relief activities.
