A spokesman for the Sindh police said that a police mobile of Sharafi Goath police station was targeted in the attack.
He said that three policemen were killed and another injured in the firing near Baghe Korangi in Shah Faisal Colony.
The dead and injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and medico-legal formalities.
