Flooding cuts road links to Jhal Magsi, Naseerabad

JHAL MAGSI - Several villages in district Jhal Magsi of Balochistan are facing water and food scarcity after cut off from rest of the province due to rain and floods.
Heavy rains hit Jhal Magsi and its adjacent areas on Friday. The rain and flood water entered tehsil Gandhawa and Kotra inundating Khari, Patri, Qazi Ismail and other areas.Due to stagnant rain and flood waters, the roads that link Jhal Magsi and Gadhawa with rest of the province have been cut off as a result, relief and rescue teams have yet to arrive to help the affected people.
People are facing food and potable water shortage. Cut in power supply have added the miseries of masses.

The heavy rains have triggered flash floods in Balochistan, causing widespread devastation across the province as several villages have been submerged under water.
River Moulla, River Nari and River Tali were in high level flood. Land route to Sibbi and Harnai was cut off due to flood water while standing crops in Kallat were badly damaged due to heavy rain.

At least six people were killed when a wall of a house collapsed in Jam Colony area of Hub. Dozens of mud houses were collapsed in Dera Murad Jamali due to heavy rain on Saturday.
