Six more dengue cases reported in Karachi

KARACHI: Six more dengue viral fever cases were reported in Karachi on Tuesday increasing the patients 398 from January 2013, said Dengue Surveillance Cell Sindh.
Dr M Shakeel Aamir Mullick, Focal Person for Dengue Surveillance Cell Sindh, said that 409 dengue fever cases were reported in Sindh province this year so far, out of them 398 were reported in Karachi, while 11 in rest of province.
He said three dengue patients died owing to the disease in Karachi since January 2013.
He said that ten dengue patients were still admitted to different hospitals of the city and six new cases have been reported in Karachi on 9th July, while ten patients were discharged from hospitals after treatment. (PPI)
