Quetta: Over 150 arrested in crack down on drug sellers

QUETTA: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has detained 169 suspects during a crackdown against drug sellers at the main sewage drain of the city, while drug dens in the area were destroyed on Sunday, Geo News reported.
Sources add that ANF along with local police launched a crackdown against the drug dens set up in the sewage drain in the center of the city and detained 169 suspects including the drug peddlers and addicts, while the drug dens in the area were destroyed and the contraband torched.
ANF Commander Brigadier Adnan Azim told media personnel that over 20 drug shops and dens besides a hotel set up in the area were razed to the ground. He said that the operation would continue until the entire area was cleared of drug addicts and drug peddlers.
