MULTAN: The residents of Qasim Bela Friday enraged by prolonged unannounced load shedding in their localities lost patience and went on a rampage in the Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) office here, Geo News reported.
Residents of Multan including men, women and children irritated by persistent load shedding ransacked and torched everything they could get hold of in the Mepco office here, while the Mepco staff having seen the furious mob fled.
Neither the fire brigade nor the police reached to the scene after the incident, while a few persons from among the citizens were seen engaged in putting the fire out.
